What To Say Now is the public-facing product name. The legal seller and data controller is Dian Forbes-Frazer, trading as What To Say Now. "We" and "us" on this page refer to Dian Forbes-Frazer.

When you describe a situation, that text is sent to our AI provider so a response can be generated, and it is returned to your browser. We do not save your situation text, your goals, what the other person said, or the responses you receive in our product analytics.

If you use What To Say Now without an account, saved coaching conversations are stored in your own browser's local storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us, and clearing your browser data deletes them permanently.

If you sign in, your saved coaching conversations can sync to your account so they follow you between devices. Synced conversations are stored in our database, are visible only to you, and are never used in product analytics.

We record privacy-preserving usage metadata so we can understand how the product is used and improve it: which feature was used, which category, tone and recipient type were selected, whether a generation succeeded or failed, whether a response was copied, shared or rated helpful, an anonymous session and device identifier, and basic acquisition information such as a referring site or campaign parameter.

None of these records contain your conversation content.

To protect the service from abuse and runaway costs, we keep a short-lived usage ledger containing the time of each AI request and irreversible one-way fingerprints derived from your device identifier and network address. We cannot read your IP address back out of these fingerprints, and they are never linked to conversation content.

Responses are generated by third-party large language models accessed through our AI provider. Your text is transmitted to that provider solely to produce your response. We do not use your conversations to train models.

Accounts are optional. If you create one, we store the email address you sign in with and basic account metadata such as when you first and last signed in. Signing in uses a secure email link — there are no passwords to store.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising. If either changes, this page will be updated first.

What To Say Now is intended for people aged 16 and over.

When paid plans are available, payment and billing information is processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, applicable transaction taxes, and payment-related transactions. What To Say Now does not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited subscription and transaction information needed to provide and manage your plan, such as subscription status, plan, renewal status and relevant transaction identifiers.

Saved coaching conversations used without an account remain in your browser's local storage on your device until you clear them or your browser storage.

Synced conversations associated with a signed-in account remain linked to that account until you delete them or delete your account, subject to limited technical or legal retention where necessary.

Account and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and comply with legal obligations for the service.

Payment and transaction records may also be retained by Paddle under Paddle's own legal and compliance obligations.

You can clear saved conversations at any time from the Coach Me page or by clearing your browser storage. If you have an account, you can also request a copy of your data or delete your account and its synced conversations. For any privacy request, contact us through the Contact page.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights regarding your personal data.
